2008 Autumn (3)

The second half of the Autumn term is already upon us and our Christmas preparations are well underway !
The second part of this newsletter will inform you of all the fun activities we have in store.

 - THANK YOU! -

Harvest

Thank you so much for your generosity in providing tinned foods to help the Easter Team ensure that many people less fortunate than ourselves in Crawley will have access to good food. We received a letter of thanks from the Team and also a certificate. The children enjoyed giving so much.

Family Shoebox Appeal

I do hope you’ve enjoyed preparing shoeboxes of gifts for families in Romania, Moldova and Albania. Thank you to those of you who have already provided a box. If you still wish to participate the closing date is Thursday 20th November.

Lunches

I would like to say how impressed we are with the super healthy packed lunches so many of the children are enjoying! WELL DONE!

Children in Need

Together with the Nursery we have collected an amazing £279.
Thank you for donating all your pennies on Friday, the children had great fun making our path of pennies

MOODLE

We have noticed that many of you and your children are enjoying the activities on our Moodle. Please try to remember to find time to log on and have some fun!
If any of you are having problems or have forgotten your passwords please let us know and I’m sure we’ll be able to help.

Internet user agreement forms

IF YOU HAVE NOT YET RETURNED YOUR INTERNET USER AGREEMENT FORM PLEASE WOULD YOU DO SO AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.

Winter Warmers

Now that the colder weather is with us I’d like to remind you that we have woolly beanie hats with school logo for sale at £3 each.

Drink to think

It has come to our notice that several of the children are bringing juice/squash in their water bottles. Research shows that only water rehydrates effectively. Please ensure that only water is provided for drinking during the day and save the juice for lunchtime.
Thank you in anticipation of your co-operation.

Animals

Please remember dogs are not permitted on school premises at anytime.
