During our School Council meeting last week the councillors and I were discussing the earthquake in Haiti and the impact that it is having on the people and particularly the children.
We realised that many of the children's rights and needs have been taken away by the disaster. The coucillors identified the following :
We are very keen to help in any way we can as we understand that we all have a responsibilty.
The councillors have planned to have a 'dress down' day when we can wear any clothes that we already have on Friday 5th February. Please contribute at least £1 to help Haitian children and their families survive.
