The school was opened in January 1992 as Maidenbower First School and after a number of changes is now Maidenbower Infant School and Nursery. Children can start at Nursery in the term after their third birthday and the school caters for children from 4 to 7 years old.

We aim to ensure the successful learning for each child in all areas of the curriculum in a peaceful, caring atmosphere which encourages all round growth and development.

We have a high regard for the personal and social education of each child and provide opportunities for the development of self esteem and independence.

Our vision for Maidenbower Infant School

To create a centre of excellence that will develop personalised learning journeys for all. In partnership with parents/carers, governors and the community we will recognise and celebrate the diversity of individuals and nurture them as life-long learners for the 21st Century.

    To realise our vision we will:

  • Enable learners to develop morally, spiritually, emotionally and socially
  • Maximise the potential of all learners
