My name is Lea Kelly and I have been an Associate Governor since September 2022, when I joined the school as Assistant Headteacher for Teaching and Learning and EYFS. I was particularly interested in becoming an Associate Governor to understand more about the strategic side of leading a school. 

I have been teaching since 2012 and have worked in two Crawley primary schools prior to my position at Maidenbower Infant School. I have a passion for teaching in Early Years and I am an advocate for learning through play in Early Years and Key Stage 1. I also have an interest in curriculum development, and I am really enjoying my role in supporting the development of a high-quality, progressive and enriching curriculum at Maidenbower Infant School.
