Welcome to Maidenbower Infant School!

At Maidenbower Infant School we believe that education should be engaging, challenging, personalised and fun! We aim to provide a learning environment where children feel safe, valued and respected, enabling everyone to reach their potential.

Maidenbower Infant School was opened in 1992 as Maidenbower First School; we are now a three form Infant school for 4 – 7 year olds with a private nursery that has 32 places per session for children from the age of three.  We are lucky to have extensive grounds that provide a stimulating and exciting learning space outside that complements our indoor learning.

We are a happy school where the children have high expectations and are proud of themselves and have respect for others. We are a Rights Respecting School (based on the principles of the UNICEF Rights of the Child) and our Rainbow Rights are embodied within our Spiritual, Moral, Social and Cultural (SMSC) curriculum:

  • The right to be me

  • The right to be heard

  • The right to learn

  • The right to be safe and cared for

  • The right to be in a clean and tidy environment

The best way to get a feel for our school is to come and visit – please give us a call on

01293 – 886324 and make an appointment for a look round and a chat. We look forward to welcoming you in person to our school.
