Join us for a fabulous night of comedy on Friday 17th May 2024.  Rangatainment Comedy have arranged an amazing line up for us including Edinburgh Festival favourite Rory O'Hanlan, local boy and winner of South Coast Comedian of the year, Dinesh Nathan and TV Favourite, Angela Barnes.

Headlined by the hilarious Angela Barnes! Angela swapped a career in health and social care for stand-up in 2010 and hasn’t looked back.

Within just a couple of years she had won the BBC New Comedy Award in 2011 and toured around the country with her stand-up shows. Angela has starred in BBC Two’s Mock the Week, Live at the Apollo, House of Games, and Hypothetical on Dave. She is a firm favourite on BBC Radio 4, having featured on The Now Show and The News Quiz – including a recent stint as the host. She has also hosted BBC Radio 4 Extra’s Newsjack. Angela co-hosts the less-than-serious popular podcast We Are History (Acast) with John O’Farrell. The two history nerds discuss, explain, and laugh at interesting and quirky episodes from the olden days.

Opening the show the brilliant Rory O’Hanlon! Starting his career in Dublin, Irish comedian Rory O’Hanlon is a favourite at comedy clubs across the UK and Ireland, known for his rapid-fire, joke-heavy delivery.

Rory has had several solo shows at the Edinburgh Festival and was in The Stand’s ‘Best of Irish’ show, as well as appearances at the Glasgow and Cardiff Comedy festivals.

Rory has also performed all over the world, including Moscow, Berlin, Monte Carlo, Brussels and many places in between.

With local comedian Dinesh Nathan! After winning several gong shows, Dinesh won South Coast Comedian Of The Year and was a finalist at the Komedia New Act competition and the coveted Leicester Mercury Comedian Of The Year competition. In 2022 Dinesh appeared on BBC 3’s New Comedian of the Year awards and Comedy Central Live. Described as a “mix of high-spirited delivery with a sarcastic, self-deprecating viewpoint”, his club-ready, bulletproof and relentless act was named “one to watch” by Brighton Fringe Review. He has previously supported Kerry Godliman, Seann Walsh, Ramesh Ranganathan, Nathan Caton, Suzi Ruffell and Fern Brady on tour and can currently be seen opening the show on Tom Davis’s live tour, Underdog!
