Paul Tarran
My name is Paul Tarran. I’m a married father of three and live in Three Bridges.
Growing up, I attended school in Crawley before moving to London for work and eventually back to Crawley.
I have worked as a civil servant for over 29 years in a number of roles for the same company. Over this time I’ve had responsibility for Safeguarding, Risk assessment (Pre-planned and Dynamic), and various aspects of Health and Safety. My position requires a high level of vetting and I am aware of the need to keep information confidential.
I am a governor at MIS in order to volunteer, to give back to the education system and support the learning of the children at this school. I believe I have gained, in both my personal and working life, the attributes to assist the governing body in being a supportive, critical friend. I am keen to ensure that all children are safeguarded well and can fulfil their potential whatever their background, special educational needs or disabilities.
